Program Descriptions Reflections by the Bay The Reflections series, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Library, is a popular monthly lecture series. It is open to the public and free of charge. Please check the calendar above for the next scheduled program. Book Share Group The Book Share Group meets the second Wednesday of the month at 9:00 a.m. at the library. The group meets for one hour. During that time each person takes a turn talking about their books. Attending Book Share group is a great way to hear about books you might not hear of otherwise. Great Books Discussions The Great Books Discussion Group meets every other Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the library. The readings are from the Great Books Foundaton anthologies and the Foundation format is followed. At every meeting an assigned reading is discussed. The discussion is always challenging and thuoght provoking. Stop in at the library to borrow a copy of the current anthology, "Great Conversations, Vol. 1." Since each discussion is complete and each meeting has a new reading, it is easy to join the group even if you are unable to attend every discussion. Story Hour with Miss Julie Stories, songs, puppets, crafts, and more. All ages welcome. Times vary.
