Summer Reading Program! The library can help your child maintain and even improve their reading skills over the summer. This program encourages reading through prizes provided by local businesses. Stop in and register today!

Summer Programming Changes
During the busy summer months, "Tech Tuesdays" will be limited to Overdrive (downloadable ebook and audiobook service) help only. Thursday Adult Coloring and our Monday Mending programs are on hold and will resume in the fall.

Upcoming Events

Circle Time
Mondays at 10:00 a.m.

Infants and toddlers and their parents/caregivers will have fun rhyming and moving with Miss Char. With a focus on repetition, children build their repertoire each week of rhymes, both old and new.

Fun Fridays
Friday at 10:00 a.m. (through August 18th)

Join Miss Vickie of “Get up and Dance” for a fun filled Friday morning of moving and shaking! This program is designed for preschool age children and a caregiver. Meets outside the library near the shuffle board courts.

Tuesday, July 25th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

For ages 7 and up. Ozobots teach basic coding and programming concepts. These smart little robots follow lines on paper and detect codes based on color.

Open Lego
Tuesday, August 8th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

All ages. We provide the bricks, you provide the creativity.

Eclipse Party
Monday, August 21st from Noon to 3 p.m.

All ages. On Monday, August 21, 2017, a total eclipse of the Sun will be visible in the continental United States. Join us for moon related crafts and activities for all ages. Viewing glasses available while supplies last.

Tech Tuesdays
Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

A library staff member will be available to help with library related technology issues. Learn how to download e-books and e-audiobooks to your personal devices or learn how to use the digitized newspapers.

Breakfast Book Share
Wednesday, August 16th at 9:00 a.m.

Bring your own coffee or tea and talk about books. Share what you have read recently and find out what fellow community members have been reading. This is a great way to discover new books!

BSDL Board Meeting
Monday, August 14th at 9:30 a.m.

Board meetings are open to the public.
