Features of the new system include text notifications for reserves and overdue materials, as well as automatic reserves for your favorite authors. While we anticipate a smooth transition, we appreciate your patience as we migrate to the new system.

Upcoming Events

Circle Time
Mondays at 10:00 a.m.

Infants and toddlers and their parents/caregivers will have fun rhyming and moving with Miss Char. With a focus on repetition, children build their repertoire each week of rhymes, both old and new.

Mending at the Library
Mondays 10:30 a.m. - Noon and Thursdays 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

A volunteer will be at the Library to repair clothing while you wait. If you have a tear in your shirt, your child has a rip in her jeans, or the hem has unraveled from your tablecloth, bring your items to the library during "Mending Time." No formal wear or upholstery. No drop offs.

Breakfast Book Share
Wednesday, December 19th at 9:00 a.m.

Bring your own coffee or tea and talk about books. Share what you have read recently and find out what fellow community members have been reading. This is a great way to discover new books!

Great Benzie Read
Thursday, January 17th at 6:00 p.m.

Borrow the book "The Death and Life of the Great Lakes" by Dan Egan, then meet up to discuss the book with readers from around the county. Refreshments provided by the Friends of Benzie Shores District Library.

Board meetings are open to the public.The board meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 9:30 a.m.
